Leonardo DiCaprio, Dame Helen Mirren, Uma Thurman, Milla Jovovich and Katy Perry were amongst those present at the Hotel de Cap on Thursday night during the Cannes Film Festival to support The American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR). amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS gala this year was hosted by Harry Winston and Bold Films which raised over $25 Million for Research to Fight HIV/AIDS and find a cure.
Since amfAR’s late founding international chairman Dame Elizabeth Taylor hosted the first Cinema Against AIDS in 1993, the stylish star-studded event has become the most sought after soiree ticket in Cannes, with a dizzying VIP guest list including Heidi Klum, Bella Hadid, Petra Nemcova, Izabel Goulart, Sasha Luss, Chanel Iman, Kasia Struss, Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst, Chloe Sevigny, Elle Fanning, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Oliver Rousteing, Vanessa Paradis, Chanel Iman, Daria Strokous, Bella Heathcote, Irina Shayk, Karolina Kurkova, Eva Herzigova, and Jessica Hart.
Stunningly styled celebrity guests graced the beautiful grounds of Hotel de Cap with some of the world’s top models, Alessandra Ambrosio, Jourdan Dunn, Lily Donaldson, Natasha Poly, Doutzen Kroes, Hailey Clauson, Karlie Kloss and Irina Shayk amongst others who later took to the amfAR runway for the Disco Collection fashion show. The dazzling disco collection included looks from Burberry, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Diane Von Furstenberg, DSQUARED2, Elie Saab, Fendi, Marchesa, Tom Ford, Stella McCartney, Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci, Marc Jacobs, and Louis Vuitton.
And we all want to know who was the best dressed and who wore what on the red carpet at this year’s amfAR: Painting the Cote d’Azur in red was Katy Perry who wore a Marchesa gown styled with Guiseppe Zanotti Shoes and Jewellery by Harry Winston.
